Ashley Addiction Treatment
Jenn Ungham joined Ashley in the spring of 2016 as one of the first young adult counselors within the newly-developed Young Adult Program. She has been a helping professional for the past 17 years, working with juveniles in criminal justice system including as the Assistant Program Director of the Juvenile Drug Court. She graduated from Towson in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She also has studied Psychology. She has maintained a Certified Addictions Counselor credential since 2005. During the past four years at Ashley, her focus has been substance use disorder treatment with the emerging adult female population. She has a passion for working with this demographic and has a desire to further her career by focusing on therapeutic modalities that address trauma and co-occurring mental health disorders. Throughout her time at Ashley she has been working diligently to create gender-specialized programming to address the complex biological, psychological, social and spiritual obstacles for young women seeking treatment. In the Spring of 2020 Jenn will transition to the role of Program Manager of the newly-created Women’s Extended Care Program at Ashley, a program designed for women by women.
