Jennifer has more than 24 years of experience in the behavioral health advocacy field, serving as a trainer, facilitator, designer, project director, training director, and video producer. She has developed and managed innovative training programs specializing in the areas of stigma and discrimination, wellness, recovery, and culture change, and much of her career has involved helping stakeholders to examine their own pre-conceived ideas and develop strategies for change. She has coached trainers across the country and abroad and conducted hundreds of workshops in Maryland, across the country and internationally. Under her leadership, The Anti-Stigma Project has become a nationally known model for stigma reduction. She has guest lectured at some of the area’s leading educational institutions, and been a sought-after speaker and presenter at local, state, national and international conferences, from Hong Kong to Baltimore.
